Due to some check up I had to close my eyes for an hour
Suddenly I was lost
I couldnt see
The white washed walls
The different people around
My phone buzzing with messages
The blue sky out of the window
But with time
I could feel the breezing air from the window
The footsteps of people hovering around
The nonstop gossip of people waiting
The noise made by the medical instruments
I could smell the hot air of coffee
I could feel everything going around
That time I realized
That I had taken my senses for granted
Thought it would remain forever
But now I thank god
For allowing me to see the green of plants
The colours of rainbow
To let me feel the chill of ice
To let me feel the heat of sun
To let me hear the melodic songs of birds
To let me smell the fragrance of flowers
To let me taste the sweetness of cake
I am grateful for this 5 senses
I am
I truly am

I am not a writer by choice but by the need of expression. Helium and atoms might be surrounded by other helium atoms but my mind occupies variety of thoughts. The need of expression is not because i have something to tell but it's because i have some experiences at such a young age which are worth sharing. Sometime back i made my way to hospital and had to close my eyes for along, and i went through the same experience of the life time…….. i could just get into the feel through this….. and yes at unusual time and place, unusual things happens which make us count the moment. Another piece of exquisite writing 🙂
