UNSENT LETTER

My heart is filled with grief when my inspiration has left this world Dr APJ Abdul Kalam the person who inspired millions. This is a letter I always wanted to send him but don’t know what stopped me. And it brings more tears with the thought that now I can never send it and tell him how he changed me.

Dear sir

I never had the opportunity to meet you or even see you let alone to have a conversation with you. But all I want is to thank you from the bottom of my heart for shaping my life.

For me the sky was never blue, happiness was something I was never meant to experience, the chirruping of birds were like noise and the colours were non existent. For me either it was black or white with no desire and no clue about what my life is leading to until one day I read

” To shine like sun, first burn like sun”

A line that made me think deep. I started following all your sayings. You inspired me and made me what I am today.

You made me realize that sufferings and grief are necessary for success. How can we enjoy rainbow if we don’t experience little rain? Hardships teach us and shape us every time we face it. Like eagle flies above the rain and not take shelter like other birds do. Cribbing or hiding is not what is necessary fighting is what matters.

You made me understand the worth of vision. Dreams and thoughts are what we should be live for. Thoughts should be our capital asset which keeps us awake until we achieve it.

I learnt that its our attitude that matters. Making someone feel small is not a big thing but appreciating and winning someone is what is difficult. If we are positive, passionate about what we feel no one can ever defeat us.

You taught me how important hard work is because work and dedication decides our victory or failure. Its on us and our efforts to make solid achievements to make a mark in this world.

I want to thank you sir for teaching me all these wonderful qualities that transformed my soul. The black and white world seems past now. Beauty and colours is what I love. I want to give my heartiest gratitude sir.

Yours sincerely
